Let us reenact the lunch packing process today. Note: what follows is a dramatization.

Early in the morning, find a container suitable for a variety of food items. Here's one that might work - measuring approximately 8" x 6.5" in length and width.

Start the bottom layer with 2 pieces of pizza snuggled against one another.

Add one german pancake. It fits well along the hypotenuse.

Are there hotdogs inside? Check.

Top the pancake with the number of jam sandwiches it takes to get to the top of the container. In this case that will be 2 sandwiches.

Does the lid fit? Yup.

And that, my friends, is how you pack a lunch!

But not so fast. There are also snacks to account for:

Like a banana.

And did someone say "gingerbread cookies"? Holla! Two varieties today.

A smidge of Pirate's booty for a quick treat...

and half a power bar in case of emergencies.
